  • 2 Pound - boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 teaspoon - sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon - black pepper
  • 4 teaspoon - extra-virgin olive oil
  • ½ cup - light brown sugar
  • 4 cloves - garlic

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Season the chicken breasts on both sides with the salt and black pepper. Arrange them in the prepared baking dish and drizzle with the olive oil.
  3. Sprinkle the brown sugar over the chicken breasts and gently pat it down to create an even coating. Sprinkle the minced garlic over the chicken.
  4. Bake the chicken breasts on middle rack of oven for 15 minutes.
  5. Open the oven and spoon any released juices over the top of the chicken breasts. Continue baking until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 160°F, 10-15 minutes.
  6. Check to see that chicken is done. Remove from oven or add time as needed.
  7. Spoon any caramelized drippings in the pan over the chicken breasts. Serve immediately.
