Tips & Tricks (5)
- Melt White Chocolate Perfectly 🍫Use a double boiler or microwave in 30-second intervals to melt white chocolate chips, stirring between each interval to prevent scorching and ensure a smooth, creamy batter.
- Balance Moisture with Milk 🥛Add the milk gradually while mixing the cake mix and pudding to achieve the ideal fudgy-yet-moist texture; too much creates a cake-like consistency, too little yields a dry brownie.
- Don't Overmix for Optimal Texture 🥄Fold ingredients together gently until just combined to maintain that sought-after brownie density; overmixing develops gluten and creates a tougher, more cake-like result.
- Use Instant Pudding Strategically 🍓Add the instant pudding powder directly to the dry cake mix before adding liquids to ensure even strawberry flavor distribution throughout every bite without any clumpy pockets.
- Check Doneness Early 🔍Test with a toothpick at the minimum baking time; a few moist crumbs indicate perfect fudgy texture, while a clean toothpick means they're overbaked and will be dry when cooled.
