This candied salmon is incredibly easy and has the perfect flaky texture. The sweet and savory maple pecan glaze adds so much flavor! This Paleo salmon is quick easy enough for a weeknight but feels fancy and sophisticated!

Ingredients

  • 2 - fillets salmon
  • ½ tsp - sea salt
  • ½ tsp - ground pepper
  • ½ cup - pecans
  • ¼ cup - pure maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp - coconut aminos

Instructions

  1. First, preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Pat salmon dry with paper towels. Season on both sides with sea salt and pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, combine pecans, maple syrup and coconut aminos. Stir to combine.
  4. Place salmon fillets in a large baking dish.
  5. Pour pecan mixture over salmon fillets.
  6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until salmon flakes easily.
  7. Finally, remove from oven and serve!
