Cantaloupe Margaritas
Cantaloupe margaritas are a great way to cool off your weekend. I originally developed this recipe after a surprise melon showed up in my produce delivery. It took a bit of messing around with the recipe, but the bright color and surprisingly mild taste created a margarita that brought new life to this underrated melon.

Ingredients
Instructions
- Step 1
Add 4 ounces cantaloupe juice, 2 ounces silver tequila, 1 ounce orange liqueur and 1 ounce lime juice to a shaker filled with ice. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 15 to 20 seconds.
- Step 2
Pour into a glass prepared with a salted rim and filled with ice. Serve with a lime slice and melon ball of fresh cantaloupe (optional).
