Instructions
1
|
First, place the cheese and bowls (for dips, antipasti, melted cheeses, etc.) on the board. Unwrap the cheese and slice it completely or partially.
2
|
Next, arrange the sausage and ham on the board. Fold or roll thin slices for this.
3
|
To make a salami rose, arrange thinly sliced salami slices overlapping in a circle around the rim of a narrow glass. Repeat this process until there are 3 or 4 layers, then turn the glass upside down and remove it.
4
|
Fill the provided bowls with antipasti, cheese accompaniments, dips and liquid cheeses.
5
|
Next, arrange the fruit and crackers decoratively on the empty spaces of the charcuterie platter. Distribute the fruit in such a way that it creates attractive color contrasts.
6
|
Finally, fill any empty spaces with nuts, dried or fresh fruit or more crackers and decorate the charcuterie platter with fresh herbs as desired.
7
|
Serve a platter of sausage and cheese with bread and butter on the side.

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Cheese Temperature Magic 🧀Remove cheeses from the refrigerator 30-45 minutes before serving to allow them to reach room temperature, which enhances their flavor and texture dramatically.
- Artistic Arrangement Technique 🎨Create visual interest by using odd numbers of items and varying heights - stack soft cheeses, fan out meats, and use small bowls or ramekins to break up the platter's landscape.
- Flavor Pairing Mastery 🍯Strategically place complementary condiments like fig mustard, honey, or fruit preserves near specific cheeses to guide guests in creating perfect flavor combinations.
- Strategic Ingredient Balance 📐Aim for a color and texture variety by including at least three types of protein (e.g., prosciutto, salami, chorizo), two soft cheeses, two hard cheeses, and a mix of salty and sweet accompaniments.
- Moisture Prevention Hack 💧Use small pieces of parchment paper between different ingredients to prevent moisture transfer and maintain the integrity of each component's texture.
