Ingredients
- ½ lb - pasta shells
- Salt
- 16 ounces - ricotta cheese
- 1 cup - shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup - grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 - egg
- Salt
- Black pepper
- 1 tbsp - fresh parsley
- ½ - marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Boil jumbo shells in salted water until very al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta, 1 cup mozzarella, 1/2 cup Parmesan, egg, salt, pepper, and parsley until well combined.
- Spread 1/2 jar of marinara sauce evenly on the bottom of an oven-safe baking dish.
- Stuff each shell with the ricotta mixture using a spoon or piping bag.
- Place filled shells over the marinara layer in the baking dish.
- Top with additional mozzarella, Parmesan, and more marinara sauce.
- Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Top with more Parmesan and serve hot.
