Ingredients
- ½ lb - pasta
- 1 - burrata ball
- 2 tablespoons - unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp - olive oil
- 2 cloves - garlic
- ¾ cup - tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons - tomato paste
- ¾ cup - heavy cream
- ½ cup - ricotta cheese
- Salt
- Black pepper
- ½ tsp - garlic powder
- ½ tsp - onion powder
- ½ cup - grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup - shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 - round bread loaves
- 2 tablespoons - unsalted butter
- ¼ tsp - garlic powder
- ½ tsp - dried parsley
- ¼ cup - grated parmesan
Instructions
- Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve a splash of pasta water, then drain.
- In a skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter with olive oil. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in tomato paste and tomato sauce. Simmer for 2 minutes, then add heavy cream and ricotta.
- Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir to combine.
- Add Parmesan and mozzarella. Mix until cheese melts into a creamy sauce.
- Add cooked pasta and reserved pasta water. Stir until fully coated and creamy.
- Prepare the bread bowls by cutting off the tops and hollowing out the center.
- In a small bowl, mix 2 tbsp melted butter, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, parsley, and 1/4 cup Parmesan.
- Brush the mixture inside and around the bread bowls. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 8–10 minutes until golden.
- Fill the bread bowls with the cheesy pasta. Top each with a burrata ball and serve immediately.
