Tips & Tricks (5)

  • Soak Skewers Strategically 💧
Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes before assembling to prevent charring in the oven and ensure even cooking of vegetables.
  • Marinate the Chipotle Blend 🌶️
Blend chipotles in adobo sauce with oil and spices, then coat chicken pieces 2-4 hours ahead for deeper smoke flavor penetration throughout the meat.
  • Size Matters for Even Cooking 📏
Cut chicken tenderloins and vegetables into uniform 1.5-inch pieces so they cook at the same rate and achieve consistent doneness across all kabobs.
  • Arrange for Optimal Heat Distribution 🔄
Alternate chicken, onions, and peppers on each skewer with slight spacing between pieces to allow hot air circulation in the oven for even browning.
  • Rest After Roasting 🛑
Let finished kabobs rest for 3-5 minutes before serving to allow juices to redistribute, keeping chicken tender and moist despite the dry oven heat.
