Choco Fruit Snack
Instructions
1
|
Prepare your fruits. I used pomegranate seeds, blueberries, and raspberries, but feel free to use your favorites.
2
|
Melt the chocolate and use a double boiler or microwave until smooth, and set aside.
3
|
Arrange the fruits. Place a teaspoon of each fruit on a tray, leaving some space between them.
4
|
Add the chocolate. Using a piping bag, drizzle melted chocolate over each fruit. Sprinkle with chopped nuts, dry fruits, or berry powder for extra flavor.
5
|
Set and enjoy. Refrigerate until the chocolate hardens, then enjoy your bite-sized chocolate fruit treats.

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Chocolate Tempering Perfection 🍫Melt chocolate in a double boiler or microwave in 30-second intervals at 50% power to prevent seizing, ensuring a smooth, glossy coating that sets beautifully on fruits.
- Dry Your Fruits Thoroughly 💧Pat fruits completely dry with paper towels before dipping—any moisture will cause the chocolate to seize and create a dull, bumpy finish instead of a sleek coating.
- Chill Between Dips ❄️Place dipped fruits on parchment paper and refrigerate for 5-10 minutes between layers to allow the chocolate to set firm, preventing layers from sliding off when adding dry fruit toppings.
- Toast Dry Fruits for Flavor 🔆Lightly toast nuts and dried fruits for 2-3 minutes before chopping and sprinkling onto wet chocolate to intensify their natural flavors and add a subtle crunch to your snack.
- Choose Chocolate with Higher Cocoa Content 🎯Use 60% cocoa chocolate or higher for a more sophisticated, less-cloying flavor that complements fresh and dry fruits better than milk chocolate while providing a satisfying snap when set.
