Preheat oven to 350℉.

Spray a 9×13 pan with nonstick spray.
- Step 3
Dump the cake mix into the prepared baking dish.
- Step 4
Pour the pudding mix on top of the cake mix.
- Step 5
Drizzle the milk over the dry ingredients and stir to combine. Be sure there aren't any pockets of dry mix left.
- Step 6
Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top.
- Step 7
Arrange the butter evenly over the top.
- Step 8
Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Step 9
Serve warm or cooled with ice cream, whipped cream or any of your favorite toppings.
