Chocolate Covered Cherry Cookies
Cherry Cookies are like the favorite candy, but instead of candy it is made with a crispy cookie. The best part is since you use a cake mix to make them, it’s quick and easy. Chocolate Cherry Cookies are perfect for holiday parties, wonderful for Christmas or Valentine’s Day. Also, they are simple enough to make any night you want a sweet treat for your family.

Preheat oven to 350F
- Step 2
Line two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
- Step 3
Combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs and oil together until completely combined.
- Step 4
Portion the dough into 1-Tablespoon sized scoops.
- Step 5
Flatten each scoop and place a cherry in the center. Wrap the cookie dough around the cherry so that it is completely enclosed.
- Step 6
Place the sugar crystals in a small bowl and dip the cookie ball into the sugar crystals.
- Step 7
Place the cookie ball sugar-side up on the prepared baking mats.
- Step 8
Bake for 8-10 minutes.
