Oats with Protein Powder

Place the oats, milk and spices in a small saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

Once the porridge has reached the desired consistency, remove the pot from the heat and stir in the protein powder.
Oats with Egg

Gently bring the oats, milk, spices, and cocoa powder to a simmer in a small saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, whisk the egg in a bowl.

Once the oats has reached the desired consistency, reduce the heat and slowly add the egg while stirring. Continue stirring vigorously for one to two minutes until the egg is completely incorporated into the porridge.
Serve

Serve it with fresh fruit or fruit of your choice and chopped nuts or some nut butter.
