Ingredients

  • Water
  • 2 cups - Whole cranberries
  • 1 - Orange
  • 4 - Cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tbsp - Whole allspice berries
  • 1 tbsp - Whole cloves
  • 1 tbsp - Ground nutmeg
  • 3 - Star anise
  • 2 sprigs - Fresh rosemary

Instructions

  1. Fill a large pot ¾ of the way with water and place it over medium high heat. If using a slow cooker, set it to low.
  2. Add all of the ingredients to the pot and bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat to a simmer and continue to simmer over low heat for several hours. Be sure to keep an eye on the water level. Add more water as needed.
  4. When finished, you can cover the mixture and use it again the next day.
