Instructions
1
Prepare and bake your brownies in a very well greased 9 inch round pan. I used a box mix, and baked mine for 40 minutes.
2
Allow the brownies to cool completely, then refrigerate for 30-45 minutes to help making cutting and removing from the pan easier..
3
Remove the brownies from the refrigerator, and gently run a butterknife around the edges of the pan to help loosen the brownies. (This is why you need a very well greased pan, so this step is easy!) If needed, gently run your knife along the bottom edge of the pan too.
4
Set the entire round batch of brownies on a cutting board or platter, and use a sharp butcher knife to cup the brownies into 8 triangles, slicing it like a pie.
5
Arrange the triangles in a row, with the wider edge at the bottom to make decorating easier.
6
Snip off the end of your icing, and moving your hand in a zigzag motion, create a “tree” on the brownie.
7
Decorate with sprinkles.
8
Add a tiny dot of icing to the bottom of a Reese’s Miniature, and secure it to the bottom of the brownie tree.

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Cool Before Cutting ❄️Allow your baked brownies to cool completely in the pan for at least 2-3 hours before cutting into triangles to prevent crumbling and ensure clean, sharp edges for your tree shapes.
- Icing Consistency is Key 🎨Warm your green cookie icing slightly (10-15 seconds in the microwave) to achieve the perfect spreadable consistency that flows smoothly without running off the brownie triangles.
- Strategic Candy Placement 🍫Place heavier candies like Reese's Miniatures near the center of each triangle while the icing is still wet, and use lighter sprinkles on top to prevent them from sliding off as the icing sets.
- Parchment Paper Advantage 📋Line your 9-inch pan with parchment paper before baking to make removal easier and provide a stable base for cutting precise triangle shapes without the brownie sticking to the pan.
- Assembly Line Decoration 🎄Decorate your brownies in an assembly-line fashion—icing all triangles first, then adding candies, then sprinkling—to maintain consistency and prevent icing from setting before you've finished decorating.
