Ingredients

  • 1 loaf - Texas toast bread
  • 4 - eggs
  • 1 ½ cups - milk
  • 1 tbsp - vanilla
  • 4 tablespoons - sugar
  • 2 teaspoons - cinnamon
  • 1 tsp - pumpkin pie spice
  • ½ tsp - salt
  • 1 cup - brown sugar
  • ½ cup - butter
  • ¼ cup - flour
  • 1 tsp - cinnamon
  • 1 tsp - pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 cup - chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Spray a 9×13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Place bread cubes in baking dish.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, sugar, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice and salt.
  4. Pour mixture over top of the bread cubes.
  5. Cover and refrigerate over night.
  6. Preheat oven to 350℉.
  7. In a food processor, add the brown sugar, butter, flour, cinnamon and pumpkin pie spice.
  8. Pulse until mixture becomes pea sized.
  9. Stir in chopped pecans.
  10. Cover and store in refrigerator until ready to bake.
  11. Pour topping over casserole.
  12. Bake for 40-50 minutes or until casserole reaches desired doneness.
  13. Serve warm.
