Tips & Tricks (5)
- Strain Your Cottage Cheese 🧅Press cottage cheese through a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth for 10-15 minutes to remove excess moisture, ensuring fudgy brownies instead of wet, dense ones.
- Bloom Your Cocoa Powder 🫗Mix cocoa powder with a small amount of warm milk or melted chocolate before adding to the batter to intensify chocolate flavor and eliminate any grittiness.
- Fold in Chocolate Chips Last ✨Reserve chocolate chips and fold them in gently at the very end of mixing to maintain their structure and create premium pockets of melted chocolate throughout.
- Use Room Temperature Cottage Cheese 🌡️Allow cottage cheese to reach room temperature before blending to ensure it incorporates smoothly and evenly, preventing lumps or uneven texture in the final brownies.
- Don't Overbake – Test Early ⏰Begin checking brownies 2-3 minutes before the recipe time using the toothpick method; the cottage cheese adds moisture, so they cook faster and overbaking dries them out quickly.
