Ingredients
- ½ lb - bowtie pasta (farfalle)
- 6 slices - prosciutto
- 1 tbsp - olive oil
- 3 tablespoons - unsalted butter
- 3 cloves - garlic
- 1 cup - heavy cream
- Salt
- Black pepper
- ½ tsp - garlic powder
- ½ tsp - onion powder
- ½ cup - frozen peas
- ¾ cup - grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup - reserved pasta water
Instructions
- Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and prosciutto. Cook until crispy on both sides, then remove and chop.
- Add butter to the same pan. Once melted, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1–2 minutes.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Add the cooked pasta, peas, chopped prosciutto, and Parmesan cheese. Stir to combine.
- Add reserved pasta water as needed to reach desired consistency.
- Mix well, top with more Parmesan and pepper, and serve hot.
