  • ½ pound - pasta
  • 1 pound - raw shrimp
  • 3 tablespoon - butter
  • 1 teaspoon - olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon - salt
  • ½ teaspoon - black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon - garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon - onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon - paprika
  • ½ teaspoon - dried parsley
  • ½ cup - dry white wine
  • 1 container - Toom garlic dip
  • ½ cup - reserved pasta water
  • ½ cup - Parmesan cheese
  • 1 handful - fresh parsley
  • 1  - bread bowl

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water.
  2. In a large pan over medium heat, melt butter with olive oil. Season shrimp with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and dried parsley.
  3. Add shrimp to the pan and cook a few minutes per side until opaque and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. Deglaze the pan with white wine, scraping up any browned bits. Let simmer for 1 minute.
  5. Whisk in Toom garlic dip and 1/2 cup of pasta water until smooth and creamy.
  6. Re-season with the same shrimp spices and bring to a gentle simmer.
  7. Add cooked pasta, Parmesan, and fresh parsley. Stir and thin sauce with additional pasta water if needed.
  8. Return shrimp to the pan, combine well, and simmer for a few minutes to marry flavors.
  9. Optional: Spread garlic dip inside a bread bowl and bake at 350°F for 10 minutes until crispy.
  10. Serve pasta in the bread bowl or regular bowls. Garnish with more Parmesan and parsley.
