Instructions
1
Season both sides of the chicken with the All Purpose Seasoning. Place the chicken, onion, mushrooms, chicken stock, wine and thyme in a crock pot. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
2
When the chicken is almost done, prepare the pasta according to package directions but undercook it slightly (by 1-2 minutes). Drain pasta and set aside.
3
Once chicken is cooked through, remove the meat and shred into bite sized pieces using 2 forks. Add the chicken back to the crock pot and stir in the cream.
4
Add cooked pasta to the crock pot, carefully stirring to combine everything. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 minutes or until heated through.

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Sear the Chicken First 🔥Brown the chicken breasts in a hot skillet before adding to the slow cooker to develop a flavorful crust and lock in juices, elevating the overall depth of your sauce.
- Add Pasta Late in Cooking ⏱️Stir in the penne during the last 30-45 minutes of cooking rather than at the start to prevent mushiness and maintain al dente texture in your finished dish.
- Cream Addition Timing 🥛Pour in the heavy cream in the final 15 minutes of cooking and stir gently to prevent curdling and ensure a silky, luxurious sauce consistency.
- Deglaze with Wine Wisely 🍷Use your white wine to deglaze the seared chicken pan before transferring to the slow cooker, capturing all the caramelized flavor bits for a richer broth foundation.
- Use Fresh Mushrooms, Add Late 🍄Add sliced fresh mushrooms in the last 20 minutes of cooking to preserve their meaty texture and earthy flavor rather than stewing them for hours until mushy.
