Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (approximately 4 minutes). Drain the beans in a colander and rinse thoroughly under running water until no more foam bubbles remain. Then place them on some kitchen paper and gently pat dry.

Mix beans in a bowl with oil, salt and paprika.

Place the beans in the air fryer basket and cook at 200°C for 12 to 13 minutes, until the beans have burst open slightly and are very crispy. Shake the basket well halfway through the cooking time.

Alternatively, you can bake the beans in the oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for 20 minutes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, until they are nice and crispy and have burst open a little.
