Ingredients
- 4 - bone-in pork chops, thick
- 1 tsp - kosher salt
- 1 tsp - black pepper
- ½ tsp - garlic powder
- ½ tsp - onion powder
- ½ tsp - paprika
- 1 tbsp - olive oil
- 10 ½ ounces - canned cream of mushroom soup
- 10 ½ ounces - canned cream of chicken soup
- 14 ½ ounces - beef broth
- 2 cups - mushrooms
- ½ - yellow onion
Instructions
- First, in a pan on the stovetop over medium heat, add the olive oil.
- Next season pork chops on each side with salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder and garlic powder.
- Sear on each side for about 3 mins per side.
- Remove pork chops from pan.
- Add cream of mushroom and cream of chicken soups plus the beef broth to the pan and whisk until a sauce develops.
- Start by placing mushrooms and onions in the bottom of the slow cooker. Then add the pork chops.
- Pour the sauce over top.
- Cook on low for 7-8 hours or on high for 5-7 hours until pork is tender.
