Tips & Tricks (5)
- Ramen Crunch Mastery 🍜Toast the uncooked ramen noodles in butter with seasonings until they're golden and crispy, which creates a more complex flavor profile than simply crushing them raw.
- Cabbage Cutting Technique 🔪Slice cabbage very thinly and at an angle to create elegant, uniform pieces that absorb dressing more evenly and provide a more delicate texture.
- Vinaigrette Emulsification Trick 🥗Whisk the rice vinegar, soy sauce, and oil vigorously or use a blender to create a stable emulsion that coats the salad ingredients more effectively.
- Nut Toasting Pro Tip 🥜Lightly toast almonds in a dry skillet before adding to the salad to enhance their nutty flavor and provide an extra layer of crunch.
- Salad Assembly Strategy 🥢Dress the salad just before serving to prevent wilting, and add the crispy ramen topping as the very last step to maintain maximum crunchiness.
