Ingredients
- 3 - overripe bananas
- 10 tablespoons - butter
- 1 cup - brown sugar
- 1 - egg
- 1 tsp - vanilla extract
- 1 cup - all-purpose flour
- ½ cup - cocoa powder
- 1 tsp - baking soda
- 1 tsp - baking powder
- ½ tsp - salt
- ½ cup - mini chocolate chips
- ½ cup - regular chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
- Smash the bananas in a bowl and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine melted butter and brown sugar. Mix well.
- Add the mashed bananas, egg, and vanilla extract to the bowl and stir until combined.
- Slowly mix in flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Fold in both mini and regular chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and top with more chocolate chips.
- Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow to cool for 20–30 minutes before slicing and serving.
