These easy after school snacks are simple, nutrient-packed bites that will curb any afternoon appetite. None of these is super complicated, and we know that we didn’t invent the combo of fruit with tajin or PB & J. But hopefully, they inspire you to make some easy bites whenever you or your kids are feeling a little hungry in the afternoon. Make these as they are, or play around with different ingredient combinations. Each of these after school snack recipes serves 2 people. We suggest making one of these snacks at a time unless you’re serving a crowd, in which case, make them all!

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Tajín Flavor Boost 🌶️Sprinkle Tajín seasoning on fruits like watermelon and mango right before serving to prevent moisture from diluting the spice blend and maintain maximum flavor intensity.
- Cream Cheese Hack 🧀Soften whipped cream cheese at room temperature for 15 minutes before spreading to achieve a smooth, easy-to-apply consistency that won't tear delicate crackers or rice cakes.
- Cucumber Prep Pro 🥒For crisp cucumber slices, use a sharp mandoline or vegetable peeler to create uniform, thin rounds that add a refreshing crunch to your snacks without excess moisture.
- Avocado Preservation 🥑To prevent browning, brush cut avocado surfaces with lemon juice and store in an airtight container with a piece of red onion, which naturally slows oxidation.
- Seasoning Layer Technique 🌈Create flavor depth by using Everything Bagel seasoning as a base layer, then top with Tajín or Chipotle chili powder for a complex, multi-dimensional taste profile.
