Instructions
1
Place the ground beef, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, egg, milk, garlic, onion powder, basil, salt and pepper in a large bowl and mix together gently just until combined. Do not over work the meat or the meatballs will be dense.
2
Form the meatballs into 1 1/2" balls and place on a baking sheet.
3
Place as many meatballs on the plate of your air fryer without overcrowding (you will more than likely need to cook (2) batches).
4
Cook at 390 degrees for about 10 minutes or until a thermometer inserted into the center registers 165 degrees. All air fryers vary, so begin checking for doneness after 8 minutes of cooking time. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Enjoy!

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Don't Overmix the Meat 🙌Mix ingredients just until combined—overworking the ground beef develops gluten, resulting in dense, tough meatballs instead of light and juicy ones.
- Chill Before Air Frying ❄️Refrigerate formed meatballs for at least 30 minutes before cooking so they hold their shape better and cook more evenly throughout.
- Use a Meat Thermometer 🌡️Check that meatballs reach an internal temperature of 160°F to ensure they're fully cooked while staying juicy—don't rely on visual cues alone.
- Toast Your Breadcrumbs First 🍞Lightly toast the breadcrumbs in a dry pan before mixing to intensify their flavor and improve the meatballs' texture and browning.
- Shake the Basket Halfway Through ✨Shake the air fryer basket at the 15-minute mark to ensure even browning on all sides and prevent sticking to the bottom.
