Breakfast does not get easier than this casserole. Simply whisk 3 ingredients together with some salt and pepper, and bake! If you like, top the dish with some chopped chives or green onions for a pop of color. The recipe is a Yummly original created by Sara Mellas.

  • 12  - eggs
  • ½ cup - whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon - salt
  • ¼ teaspoon - black pepper
  • 8 Ounce - shredded cheddar cheese

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Add the shredded cheese. Fold with a rubber spatula until evenly distributed.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  6. Bake the casserole on middle rack of oven until golden brown on top and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, 40-45 minutes.
  7. Check to see that casserole is done. Remove from oven or add time as needed.
  8. Allow casserole to rest for at least 10 minutes before serving. Cut the casserole into squares, or simply spoon onto plates.
