  • 3 strips - bacon
  • 1 ¼ pound - asparagus
  • 2 Clove - garlic

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Slice the bacon into 1/4-inch strips.
  4. Crush and finely mince the garlic.
  5. Trim the rough ends from the asparagus spears, and arrange on the baking sheet.
  6. Sprinkle the minced garlic and sliced bacon over the asparagus.
  7. Roast on middle rack of oven until asparagus is tender and bacon is crisp, 10-15 minutes.
  8. Check to see that asparagus is done. Remove from oven or add time as needed.
  9. Serve immediately.
