Tips & Tricks (5)
- Pat Salmon Dry for Crispy Skin 🐟Use paper towels to thoroughly dry the salmon fillets before seasoning and baking—this removes surface moisture and allows the Everything But The Bagel seasoning to adhere better while creating a slightly crispy exterior.
- Season Salmon Right Before Baking ✨Apply the Everything But The Bagel seasoning just 2-3 minutes before baking to prevent the salt from drawing out moisture and keep the toasted flavors vibrant and fresh.
- Prep Vegetables Ahead for Quick Assembly ⏱️Chop all vegetables and store them separately in advance so you can assemble the bowls in minutes while the salmon bakes, maximizing the 20-minute timeline.
- Use Lemon Zest and Juice Strategically 🍋Reserve some fresh lemon zest to sprinkle over the finished bowl for brightness, while using lemon juice in a quick vinaigrette that complements the Everything seasoning's savory profile.
- Check Salmon at 12 Minutes for Perfect Doneness 🌡️Since baking times vary, check the salmon at 12 minutes—it should flake easily with a fork when done at 145°F, ensuring moist fish that won't dry out over the 20-minute cook window.
