Ingredients
- 4 - Bananas, ripe
- 12 ounces - Chocolate Chips, semi sweet or milk chocolate
- 2 tablespoons - Shortening
- Peanuts
Instructions
- Peel bananas and cut in half. Push a popsicle stick into each banana half and then place on a parchment lined baking sheet.
- Freeze for at least 3 hours or do the night before.
- Microwave chocolate with shortening in a microwave safe bowl, for thirty seconds on low, stir with a rubber spatula and continue to microwave and stir in 15 second intervals until chocolate is melted and smooth.
- Dip banana in chocolate.
- Immediately, apply nuts and set on parchment paper to set.
- Allow to harden and then serve or refreeze until ready to serve.
