Instructions
1

Preheat the oven to 400°F.

Make sure the broccoli florets are roughly 1 inch wide, and arrange them in an even layer on the baking sheet.
4
|
Drizzle the broccoli with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
5
|
Use a rubber spatula to toss the broccoli until it is evenly coated in the oil.
6

Roast broccoli on middle rack of oven for 15 minutes. While it is roasting, finely mince the garlic cloves.
7

9
|
Serve immediately.

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Moisture Maximization 💦Pat broccoli florets completely dry before roasting to ensure maximum crispiness and prevent steaming instead of caramelizing.
- Garlic Infusion Technique 🧄Mince garlic finely and let it sit for 10 minutes before adding to the olive oil to activate its most potent flavor compounds.
- Single Layer Perfection 🥦Spread broccoli florets in a single, uncrowded layer on the baking sheet to guarantee even roasting and prevent soggy results.
- High Heat Caramelization 🔥Roast at 425°F to achieve perfect golden-brown edges and create a delightful nutty flavor through quick Maillard reaction.
- Seasoning Timing Trick 🧂Salt broccoli just before roasting to draw out minimal moisture and prevent pre-cooking of the vegetable.
