Tips & Tricks (5)
- Pat Dry for Crispiness 🌟Pat the cauliflower florets completely dry with paper towels before tossing with oil to ensure maximum browning and a crispy exterior instead of steaming.
- Slice Garlic Thin for Even Distribution 🧄Slice garlic thinly rather than mincing it so the pieces distribute evenly throughout the florets and some pieces caramelize while others remain tender.
- Don't Crowd the Pan 🍳Spread cauliflower in a single layer on the baking sheet with space between florets to allow hot air circulation, creating golden caramelization rather than steaming.
- Toast Parmesan Separately for Peak Flavor 🧀Add half the Parmesan in the last 3-5 minutes of roasting and sprinkle the remaining fresh Parmesan immediately after removing from the oven for nutty depth and melted richness.
- Infuse Oil with Garlic Before Roasting 🫒Warm the olive oil with minced garlic for 2-3 minutes before tossing with cauliflower to develop deeper garlic flavor throughout the dish rather than raw garlic notes.
