Ingredients
- 2 cups - Quaker Old Fashioned Oats
- ½ cup - walnuts
- 1 tsp - baking powder
- 1 tsp - ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp - salt
- ¼ tsp - ground nutmeg
- ¼ tsp - ground ginger
- ¼ tsp - ground allspice
- ¼ tsp - ground cloves
- 1 cup - milk of your choice
- 2 tablespoons - cooking oil
- 2 tablespoons - molasses
- 1 tbsp - ground flaxseed
- 1 tsp - vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350F. In a large-sized mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients. Using a second medium-sized mixing bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients and stir until combined. Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish (1 ⅘ quart rectangle or 2 quart square).
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, until golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool completely then slice into bars.
