Gluten Free Rice Krispies Treats
These homemade gluten free rice krispies treats are such a fun nostalgic treat! They are sticky, crunchy, sweet, and taste like your favorite childhood snack. This quick and easy recipe requires just 15 minutes of prep and 4 ingredients to make. Kids and adults love this easy snack. First, line a 9 inch by 9 inch square pan with parchment paper.
- Step 2
In a large skillet or pot, add the butter over low medium heat.
- Step 3
Once the butter has melted, add in the mini marshmallows. Consistently stir until the marshmallows have melted.
- Step 4
Then, turn off the heat. Add in the vanilla extract and rice cereal. Stir until all of the cereal is completely coated in the marshmallow mixture.
- Step 5
Use a spatula to transfer into the prepared pan. Gently pat down into one even layer.
- Step 6
Allow the bars to set for 30 minutes before slicing into. To speed this up, feel free to chill in the fridge.
- Step 7
Finally, use a large sharp knife to carefully cut into bars!
