Tips & Tricks (5)
- Pre-Chill Your Graham Crackers ❄️Freeze graham crackers for 30 minutes before assembling to prevent them from softening too quickly when the ice cream melts, keeping your sandwich structurally sound.
- Temper Chocolate for Professional Results 🍫Melt chocolate to 115°F, cool to 80°F, then reheat to 87°F for a glossy, snap-worthy chocolate shell that sets quickly and evenly without streaking.
- Use an Ice Cream Scoop Template 🥄Measure ice cream with a standard scoop between two graham crackers to ensure consistent sandwich sizes and prevent overfilling that causes messy melting.
- Dip and Rotate in One Smooth Motion 🔄Quickly submerge the sandwich at a 45-degree angle, rotate it, then immediately remove to achieve an even chocolate coating without excess buildup on the bottom.
- Flash Freeze Between Layers 🧊Return chocolate-dipped sandwiches to the freezer for 5 minutes between dipping coats to set each layer and prevent the chocolate from sliding off during additional dips.
