Tips & Tricks (5)
- Toast Your Buns for Texture 🍞Butter and lightly toast the burger buns on a hot griddle until golden—this prevents sogginess from guacamole and creates a crispy, flavorful foundation.
- Make Guacamole Last Minute ⏱️Prepare your guacamole just before assembly and add lime juice immediately to prevent oxidation and browning of the avocados.
- Create a Seasoning Blend ✨Mix garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper with salt before adding to your ground beef for evenly distributed seasoning and superior flavor throughout the patty.
- Don't Overwork the Meat 🤐Handle ground beef gently when forming patties and make a small thumb indent in the center—this prevents dense burgers and allows for even cooking without shrinkage.
- Layer Strategically for Maximum Flavor 🎯Place cheese on the hot patty to melt, then layer guacamole, tomato, and cilantro on the bottom bun before topping—this order prevents moisture from soaking the bun while keeping all flavors fresh.
