Instructions
1
In a large mixing bowl combine milk and pudding mixes. It is best to use a mixer because this mixture is very thick. Place bowl in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
2
Place Oreos in the food processor and finely chop. If you don’t have a food processor, place them in a large zip top bag and crush with a rolling pin or mallet.
3
Remove the pudding mixture from the refrigerator and mix in whipped topping.
4
Place about ½ and inch of crushed Oreo at the bottom of each cup. Spoon pudding mixture evenly into each cup and top with a thick layer of crushed Oreos. Place in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
5
Melt chocolate chips and shortening in a microwave safe bowl or double boiler. Place in a piping bag and cut a small hole in the tip. Use the chocolate to decorate Milano cookies like gravestones or ghosts.
6
Remove the pudding cups from the refrigerator and press the bottom half of a Milano cookie into each cup. Decorate with gummy worms and sprinkles to create a mini “graveyard”
7
Serve immediately.

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Crush Oreos Strategically 🍪Pulse Oreos in a food processor until you have a mix of fine crumbs and larger chunks—this creates authentic 'dirt' texture with visual interest rather than a uniform powder.
- Chill Pudding Before Assembly 🧊Prepare chocolate pudding 2-3 hours ahead and refrigerate until it reaches a thick, spreadable consistency for easier layering and better structural integrity in cups.
- Toast Milano Cookies for Depth 🔆Lightly toast Milano cookies in a 300°F oven for 3-4 minutes before crumbling to intensify chocolate flavor and add a subtle crunch that complements the pudding.
- Stabilize Whipped Topping with Pudding 🎂Fold a few tablespoons of prepared chocolate pudding into your whipped topping to create a sturdier mixture that holds peaks longer and won't weep liquid over time.
- Position Gummy Worms Strategically 🪱Insert gummy worms vertically just before serving so they peek through the 'dirt' layers naturally—add them too early and they'll sink or dissolve into the pudding.
