Instructions
1
First, line a muffin pan with 6 paper liners.
2
Pour melted chocolate into the bottom of each liner to completely coat the liner.
3
In a small bowl, combine the peanut butter, rice cereal (Kellogg rice krispie cereal is not gluten free. I recommend using The Real Cereal Company’s brown rice cereal), and maple syrup. Stir until combined.
4
Divide this mixture into 6 equal parts and place on top of the chocolate mixture.
5
Drizzle the remaining melted chocolate on top.
6
Place in the fridge for 15 minutes or until the chocolate has hardened.
7
Finally, remove from the fridge and eat! Store in the fridge.

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Temper Your Chocolate Properly 🍫Melt dark chocolate gently over a double boiler (not direct heat) and cool it slightly to 88-90°F before coating to achieve a glossy finish and satisfying snap.
- Toast the Brown Rice Cereal 🥣Lightly toast the cereal in a dry skillet for 2-3 minutes before mixing with peanut butter to intensify its nutty flavor and add extra crunch.
- Freeze Between Layers ❄️Freeze the chocolate-lined cups for 15 minutes before adding the peanut butter mixture, then freeze again before the final chocolate coating to prevent layers from blending together.
- Use Natural Peanut Butter Strategically 🥜Stir the natural peanut butter well before use to incorporate the oils, then slightly warm it (30 seconds in microwave) to make it spreadable without deflating the cereal texture.
- Balance Sweetness with Maple Syrup 🍁Add maple syrup gradually to the peanut butter mixture while tasting, as it's potent; start with 1 tablespoon per cup of peanut butter to avoid oversweetening and overpowering the chocolate.
