Tips & Tricks (5)
- Pound for Even Cooking 🔨Gently pound chicken tenders to uniform thickness before coating to ensure even air-frying and prevent dry edges with undercooked centers.
- Double-Dredge for Maximum Crunch 🥣Dip tenders in a wet binder (egg white or yogurt) between cornflake coatings to create multiple crispy layers that stay crunchy even after glazing.
- Balance Your Glaze Temperature ⏱️Let the sweet and spicy glaze cool slightly before coating hot tenders to prevent the honey from burning while allowing the sriracha heat to properly coat the surface.
- Customize Sriracha Intensity 🌶️Add sriracha in increments and taste-test the glaze first—this prevents overwhelming heat and lets you dial in the perfect sweet-to-spicy ratio for your preference.
- Air-Fry in Single Layer 🪟Arrange tenders in a single layer without overlapping and flip halfway through cooking for guaranteed crispiness on all sides and superior texture.
