Homemade Chick-fil-A Sandwich
Crispy, juicy chicken, buttery toasted buns, tangy pickles, and that iconic sauce – this homemade Chick-fil-A style sandwich has it all. With a flavorful marinade, a crunchy coating, and the famous sweet-and-tangy sauce, this recipe makes 3 sandwiches that taste just as good (if not better!) than the original.

Instructions
- Step 1
Slice the chicken breast into 2 thin fillets. Mix pickle juice, milk, and all the spices in a bowl. Add the chicken, cover, and marinate for at least 1 hour.
- Step 2
In one bowl: whisk milk and egg. In another bowl: combine flour and the spices.
- Step 3
Remove chicken from the marinade. Dredge in seasoned flour, dip into egg wash, then back into the flour for a double coating.
- Step 4
Heat oil to medium-high (around 175–180°C). Fry the chicken until golden brown and crispy, about 4–5 minutes per side. Let rest briefly on a wire rack.
- Step 5
Stir together mayo, honey, mustard, BBQ sauce, ketchup, and garlic powder until smooth.
- Step 6
Toast the buns in butter. Spread sauce on the bottom bun. Add lettuce, tomato slices, and pickles. Place the crispy chicken on top. Place the cheesy, crispy chicken on top. Drizzle with more sauce and close with the top bun.
