Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups - homemade condensed milk
- 1 cup - milk of choice
- 1 tbsp - maple syrup
- 1 tsp - arrowroot powder or cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons - vanilla extract
- 2 cups - milk of choice
- 1 cup - raisins
- 1 tsp - cinnamon
- 1 tsp - almond extract
- 1 tbsp - cocoa
- 1 tsp - peppermint extract
- vanilla bean reserved from soaking above to remain in the mixture
- 1 tbsp - cocoa powder
- 1 tsp - almond extract
Instructions
- Place all the ingredients, including optional flavorings, if desired, in a saucepan over low-medium heat.
- Whisk until thick, about 2-3 minutes. Cool and refrigerate until ready to use.
- Place the milk and raisins in a bowl, cover, and soak overnight in the refrigerator.
- Strain the milk into a bowl or pitcher and discard the raisins (or eat as a snack!)
