  • 16 oz blocks - mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup - all-purpose flour
  • 3  - eggs
  • 2 cup - breadcrumbs
  •   - Salt
  •   - Black pepper
  •   - Garlic powder
  •   - Neutral oil
  •   - Parmesan cheese
  •   - Dipping sauce of choice

  1. Cut the block of mozzarella into thick strips.
  2. Prepare three bowls: one with flour, one with whisked eggs, and one with breadcrumbs. Season all three with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Dredge each mozzarella strip in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs. Repeat with a second coating of egg and breadcrumbs.
  4. Place coated mozzarella sticks on a tray and freeze for 1–2 hours until firm.
  5. Heat neutral oil in a pot to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Fry mozzarella sticks in batches, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy. Do not overcook.
  7. Remove and place on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  8. Sprinkle with salt and grated Parmesan. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
