Instructions
1
Preheat the oven to 250°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2
In a small bowl, mix the dry ranch seasoning ingredients (everything but the butter) and set aside.
3
Add Cheez-Its, pretzels, oyster crackers, and Chex cereal to a bowl. Gently mix in half of the melted butter and half of the ranch seasoning mix, then repeat with the rest of the butter and dry seasoning until all of the snack mix is well-coated.
4
Spread the seasoned snack mix on the baking sheet in an even layer. If your baking sheet is too small, you can use a 2nd one lined with parchment paper.
5
Bake for 15 minutes, then remove from the oven and toss well.
6
Bake for another 15 minutes, then toss again, and bake for a final 15 minutes. The snack mix should be just slightly toasted and the seasoning should stick on the snacks.
7
Let the ranch snack mix cool before eating (they will crisp up as they cool).

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Butter Emulsion for Even Coating 🧈Melt butter over low heat and let it cool slightly before tossing with dry ingredients to ensure every piece gets evenly coated without the butter pooling at the bottom.
- Toast in Batches for Uniform Crispness 🥘Spread the mixture in a single layer on the baking sheet without crowding; toast in batches if necessary to ensure even heat exposure and maximum crunchiness throughout.
- Bloom Your Spices First 🌶️Mix all dry seasonings together 5 minutes before adding to the snack mix; this allows the chipotle pepper and powdered herbs to begin releasing their essential oils for deeper, more concentrated flavor.
- Cool Completely Before Storing 🧊Spread the finished snack mix on paper towels for 10-15 minutes after removing from the oven to allow steam to escape and prevent it from becoming soggy when stored in airtight containers.
- Customize Your Crunch Ratio 🎯Adjust the ratio of pretzel twists, cereal, and crackers based on your texture preference—use more pretzels for chewiness or more Chex for ultra-crispy results while keeping the overall quantity consistent.
