Ingredients

  • 9 ounces - chicken breast
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • 1 tsp - black pepper
  • 1 tsp - paprika
  • 1 tsp - curry powder
  • 1 tsp - ground cumin
  • 1 tsp - garlic powder
  • 1 tsp - turmeric
  • 2 tablespoons - buffalo sauce
  • 1 ½ tablespoons - ketchup
  • 1 ½ tablespoons - honey
  • 3 tablespoons - water
  • 2 teaspoons - flour
  • olive oil
  • 8 - mini wheat tortillas
  • 4 tablespoons - mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons - buffalo sauce
  • 1 tsp - ketchup
  • salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the chicken pieces with salt, pepper, paprika, curry powder, cumin, garlic powder, turmeric, buffalo sauce and ketchup. Stir until the chicken is evenly coated. Preparing everything in advance makes cooking much easier and keeps the chicken juicy.
  2. Heat a little olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook until lightly browned and almost cooked through.
  3. Add the honey and water directly to the pan. Sprinkle in the flour and stir immediately so it thickens smoothly. Let it simmer for a few minutes until the sauce becomes glossy, sticky, and coats the chicken evenly.
  4. Lay a tortilla flat. Sprinkle a layer of grated Emmentaler cheese on one half, add a portion of the honey buffalo chicken, then top with another layer of cheese. Fold the tortilla closed.
  5. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat (level 6/9). Add the filled tacos and cook for about 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy, and the cheese is fully melted.
  6. Remove from the pan and serve hot with the buffalo dip on the side.
