Instructions
1
Pat the chicken wings dry with a paper towel, then season with the garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste.
2
Place 1 cup of water in the bottom of the Instant Pot. Place the trivet inside the Instant Pot and place the wings on top of the trivet.
3
Secure the lid and cook at High Pressure for 8 minutes. Note that the Instant Pot takes 10-15 minutes of time to come to pressure before the cooking time starts. When the wings are done cooking, quick release the pressure by opening the venting valve and remove the lid when safe to do so.
4
Preheat the broiler. Place the wings in a single layer on a foil lined baking sheet. Broil on the middle rack of the oven for 3-5 minutes per side or until the skin is golden brown and crisped. Remove from heat.
5
Place the butter in small sauce pan and cook over medium low heat until melted. Add the buffalo sauce and honey and cook until simmering, about 2-3 minutes.
6
Place the wings in a bowl and coat with the desired amount of sauce. Serve immediately with ranch dressing if desired and enjoy!

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Pat Wings Dry for Crispy Texture 🍗Before pressure cooking, thoroughly pat the wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture, which ensures better browning and crispier skin after the final broil.
- Use Natural Release for Tender Results 💨Allow 5 minutes of natural pressure release before manually venting to prevent the wings from becoming tough and to maintain optimal moisture content inside the meat.
- Quick Broil Finish for Maximum Crispness 🔥After pressure cooking, broil the wings for 3-4 minutes just before coating with sauce to achieve restaurant-quality crispy skin while keeping the meat incredibly tender.
- Bloom Spices in Butter First 🧈Toast your garlic powder and black pepper in melted butter for 30 seconds before mixing with buffalo sauce to intensify their flavors and prevent a raw spice taste.
- Toss Sauce Right Before Serving ⏱️Coat the wings with sauce immediately after broiling while still hot, then serve within 2 minutes to prevent the coating from becoming soggy and to maintain maximum crispness.
