  • 2 pound - boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 Teaspoon - onion powder
  • 1 Teaspoon - garlic powder
  • 1 Teaspoon - dried oregano
  • 1 Teaspoon - black pepper
  • 1 Teaspoon - dried thyme
  • ½ Teaspoon - cayenne pepper
  • 2 Teaspoon - paprika
  • 1 teaspoon - salt
  • 4 Teaspoon - extra-virgin olive oil

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Combine the onion powder, garlic powder, dried oregano, black pepper, dried thyme, cayenne, paprika, and salt in a medium mixing bowl or shallow baking dish.
  4. Coat the chicken breasts in the spice mixture one at a time, and transfer to the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle the olive oil over the chicken breasts.
  5. Bake on middle rack of oven until the thickest part of the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F, about 20 minutes.
  6. Check to see that chicken is done. Remove from oven or add time as needed.
  7. Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
