*Often when I’m feeling a little lazy, I throw the un-juiced lime half into the shaker with the mint and muddle it to release the flavors and juice.

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Make Lavender Simple Syrup in Advance 🌸Prepare your lavender simple syrup 24 hours ahead so the floral flavors fully infuse and mellow, creating a more balanced and sophisticated syrup than using it fresh.
- Muddle Mint Gently to Preserve Oils 🌿Press mint leaves softly against the glass with a muddler rather than aggressively crushing them to release essential oils without bruising leaves and creating bitter chlorophyll flavors.
- Chill Your Glass and Ingredients First ❄️Pre-chill your cocktail glass and use cold rum from the freezer to ensure the drink stays perfectly cold longer without over-diluting from excessive ice melting.
- Use Fresh Lime Juice Only 🍋Always squeeze fresh lime juice immediately before mixing—bottled juice will compromise the bright citrus notes that balance the delicate lavender syrup's floral intensity.
- Top with Sparkling Water Last 💧Add club soda or sparkling water as the final step and stir gently to maintain carbonation and prevent the drink from becoming flat and losing its refreshing character.
