Tips & Tricks (5)
- Pat Dry for Golden Crescent Edges 🥐Pat the Li'l Smokies completely dry with paper towels before wrapping to ensure the crescent dough gets crispy and golden rather than steamed.
- Chill Dough Before Wrapping ❄️Keep your crescent roll dough cold until the moment you use it—this prevents it from becoming too sticky and helps it bake up flaky and separated.
- Toast Your Everything Bagel Seasoning 🍳Lightly toast the everything bagel seasoning in a dry pan for 30 seconds before sprinkling to intensify and bloom the flavors of the garlic, onion, and sesame seeds.
- Brush with Melted Butter Pre-Bake 🧈Brush the wrapped smokies with melted butter and season generously before baking to ensure even browning and maximum flavor adhesion.
- Bake on Parchment for Easy Removal 📄Line your baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and make cleanup effortless, especially when the buttery dough caramelizes.
