Tips & Tricks (5)
- Banana Ripeness Matters 🍌Use very ripe bananas (with brown spots) for maximum sweetness and moisture—this reduces the need for added sugar and creates a fudgier texture without the artificial sweetness overpowering the chocolate flavor.
- Brown Your Butter First 🧈Melt butter until it turns golden-brown before mixing, adding a rich, nutty depth that elevates the chocolate flavor and makes these bites taste more indulgent despite being low-calorie.
- Don't Overmix the Batter 🥄Mix just until ingredients are combined to avoid activating too much gluten in the almond flour, which keeps the brownies tender and fudgy rather than dense and cake-like.
- Underbake Slightly for Fudginess 🍫Remove bites when a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs—they'll continue cooking as they cool and set to the perfect fudgy consistency rather than drying out.
- Chill Before Serving ❄️Refrigerate the bites for at least 30 minutes before eating to allow the monk fruit sweetness to fully integrate and the texture to firm up, making them easier to handle and more chocolatey in flavor.
