Ingredients

  • 1 - pie crust
  • ⅓ cup - White sugar
  • ⅔ cup - Brown sugar
  • 1 cup - Maple syrup
  • 5 tablespoons - Butter
  • 3 tablespoons - Flour
  • ½ tsp - Ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp - Vanilla extract
  • 3 - Eggs
  • 1 cup - pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400℉.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cinnamon, brown sugar, and white sugar. Then, mix in the maple syrup, vanilla, and beaten eggs. Set aside.
  3. Melt the butter in a small pot on medium-low heat. Stir the flour in and whisk for 30 seconds. Combine the mixture with the ingredients in the large bowl.
  4. Spread pecans evenly onto the bottom of pie crust. Pour the filling into the pie crust. Add any remaining pecans on top.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes. Then, reduce the heat to 350℉. and continue baking for 55 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and allow to cool before serving.
