Tips & Tricks (5)
- Pound Chicken Evenly 🔨Pound chicken breasts to uniform thickness (about ¾ inch) to ensure they cook at the same rate and remain tender throughout the cooking process.
- Reserve Pasta Water Strategically 💧Save at least 1 cup of starchy pasta water before draining, then add it gradually to the sauce to achieve the perfect creamy consistency without over-thickening.
- Bloom Sun-Dried Tomatoes 🍅Briefly sauté the sun-dried tomatoes in the pan after searing chicken to release their concentrated flavors and infuse the oil before adding other ingredients.
- Temper the Cream Carefully 🥛Remove the pan from heat before adding heavy cream, then stir slowly to prevent curdling and ensure a silky, smooth sauce.
- Add Fresh Basil at the End 🌿Tear fresh basil by hand and mix it in just before serving to preserve its delicate flavor and vibrant green color that heavy heating destroys.
